How it works

We will have an evaluation via video call in 60 minutes, during which an interview and standardized questionnaires will be used to learn more about your sleep and needs.

In this first meeting, you will also gain a better understanding of sleep and how it works. We will address questions such as: Why do we sleep? How much sleep do we need? How can we tell if we are getting enough sleep?

With the information collected, we will work together to define a goal. Based on this, an individualized plan will be created to achieve your objective and presented to you for adjustments. With your approval, it's time to get to work together!

The subsequent sessions will focus on executing our individualized plan, with the duration varying depending on the goal.

All sessions will be conducted via video call and can be scheduled weekly or at more spaced intervals according to your needs. When we reach the final goal and conclude our sessions, you will receive a short closure guide with reinforcement strategies for better sleep, which you can refer to whenever needed.

About

My name is Thainá. I hold a Master's degree in Sleep Medicine and Physiology from the University of Murcia in Spain. I specialised in pharmacology and developmental neuroscience, in addition to holding various other certifications. I am also a Certified Child Sleep Consultant from the Sleep Consultant Academy.

I began my journey in neurology at the University of Edinburgh in the UK and in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia at the University of Oxford. I dedicate my time to the study of sleep, childhood development, scientific research, and sleep consultancy.

Before studying sleep, I believed it was just a passive state where not much happened while we slept. When I learned that sleep is actually an active state and that a lot happens in the brain during sleep, I was fascinated and curious. Since then, I have dedicated myself to understanding the fundamentals of sleep and how to address its main issues. My goal is to reach people who need support to sleep better.
